Jan 19 at 7:30pm Manhattan Movement & Arts Center Friday, January 19 at 7:30pm Venture inside the choreographer’s mind as he creates his 50th piece. With a newly commissioned score from composer Polina Nazaykinskaya, the new work will complete a triptych of dances to be performed at The Joyce Theater in May/June 2018. The program will feature a discussion between the choreographer and the composer as well as excerpts from Les Noces and last year’s smash hit Fire in the Sky. “I chose Polina Nazaykinskaya to write her first score for dance because I think she is an extremely talented and original musical artist. The depth of emotion in her music felt to me the perfect way to delve into that elusive feeling of nostalgia.” ―Pascal Rioult PURCHASE TICKETS General Admission $25.
