As a monument of the classical canon, Mozart's "Mass in C minor" provides the ultimate canvas to show Mr. Rioult's ability to transform a classical masterpiece into a resounding contemporary experience. It is an uplifting ode to life and love. The Great Mass was created with support from the Kenneth French Fund for New Works and was partially developed through a space grant with LaGuardia Performing Arts Center's lab program.
