RIOULT Dance NY supports the creation and performance of the choreographic works of Pascal Rioult, and provides the community with an accessible and affordable center for dance and enrichment through the arts.


Accessibility for Dance/NYC 2019 Small-Budget Dance Makers Conference: RIOULT Dance Center is an accessible venue.  An elevator is available upon entrance to the building. All restrooms are gender-inclusive and wheelchair accessible. Studios are lit by fluorescent lights. ASL Interpretation will be provided at this event.


NANAKO KITAGAWA is originally from Tokyo, Japan. She is a fully certified teacher of the American Ballet Theatre® National Training Curriculum, Primary through Level 7 & Partnering. After finishing the Professional Training Program in Canada she was invited to join USA Ballet in Bloomington, IL where she danced many principal roles. Since moving to NY, she has been dancing with Ballet Long Island and Atlantic City Ballet. Her repertoire includes Odette in Swan Lake, Giselle in Giselle, Sugar Plum in Nutcracker, Sylph in La Sylphide, Hyppolyta in A Midsummer Night Dream, and Princess Florine in Sleeping Beauty. Ms. Kitigawa is a guest choreographer at Neville Dance Theatre and created “Children’s Corner” in 2017. She also teaches at Covenant Ballet Theatre of Brooklyn. Ms. Kitigawa prepares students for auditions and competitions such as Youth America Grand Prix and her students have gone on to be accepted at the JKO/ABT school, LaGuardia High School, Professional Performing Arts School and Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. As a dancer, Ms. Kitigawa trained at the École Supérieure de Danse de Cannes Rosella Hightower in France and Goh Ballet Academy in Canada.
