NICOLE OHR
NICOLE OHR is a professional tap dancer based in NYC. She received her teaching certification from the American Tap Dance Foundation, is co-producer of Dance Astoria, a dance festival founded in 2014, and held annually in Queens. She is also the Artistic Director of Cole Collective, a tap dance company.
Ms. Ohr teaches students of all ages throughout the country and has worked for organizations such as Joffrey Dance Center, Joffrey Miami, Rosie’s Theatre Kids, and is currently teaching at the American Tap Dance Foundation, Broadway Dance Center and Steps On Broadway.
She has performed in shows such as Broadway Underground at B.B. King’s, Tony Waag’s The Main Event, Tap and Song, Rhythm in Motion at Symphony Space, The PULSE on Tour, My Better Half at Steps on Broadway, North Shore at Moiety, and Stampede at Symphony Space, and was Tap Dance Captain of Undertoe Dance Project and Mazel Toes Dance Company. Currently, Nicole is dancing in Germaine Salsberg’s Les Femmes Plus.
She has presented her own work at the Undertoe Dance Project’s New York Season, Astoria Dance Festival, Jared Grimes’ Run the Night, Justin Boccitto’s Choreographer’s Canvas, Dance Astoria, Choreographers’ Collective and the Queensboro Dance Festival.
