WORDING

Pascal Rioult turns to the dynamic hits of Deep Purple as the inspiration for his work, Fire in the Sky, a blazing homage to his early dance club days. Also on the program, the restaging of Te Deum, a piece originally choreographed in 1995 when Rioult was transitioning from dancer to choreographer. Now he revisits the piece through a lens of a more mature artist.

Fire in the Sky features costumes by Emmy Award winning (HBO’s Sex & The City) and Oscar nominated (The Devil Wears Prada) Patricia Field and her long time collaborator David Dalrymple who has dressed the likes of Bette Midler, Brittney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Madonna, Nikki Minaj, and others. Women's Wear Daily's article about Patricia Field and her collaboration with RIOULT.

Pascal Rioult's 1995 Te Deum is costumed by Mondo who's background in urban fashion and contemporary dance brings a modern new feel to this work.
